Within QuickEMR, the CoPay Report allows users to track patient copays associated with scheduled appointments. This report provides visibility into which patients have a copay due and whether the copay has been paid or remains outstanding.
Where to Go
To find the Copay report, you will first need to:
1. Navigate to Reports --> Billing --> Copay.
2. Select your From and To dates.
3. Select Facility, Provider, or any other search parameters.
4. Press Get Results.
The CoPay report uses color coding to help you quickly identify whether payments match the expected copay amount, exceed it, or fall below it.
Copay Visibility on Appointment Book
Within the appointment book, Computed Tags are displayed to indicate which patients have an outstanding copay and which patients have already paid their copay. These icons allow front office staff to quickly identify patients who still need to complete their copay payment.
Icons:

- means that the patient owes a copay that has not yet been collected.

- means that the patient's copay has already been paid and collected.
