Start and End Times on the Note


In accordance with the latest criteria from United Health Care, the inclusion of start and end times has been introduced.
United Health Care mandates the documentation of a start and end time for each CPT code.

In cases where the need for start and end times doesn't apply, you can disregard this stipulation and completing a note doesn't require fulfilling this particular requirement.

For any instances where the start and end time is not required, it can be safely ignored, and is not a requirement for a provider to complete a note.
If the start and end time remain unchanged from the default value, they will not display on the print-out of the note.

How to display the start and end Times on the print-out?


To incorporate these charges times in your documentation print-outs, modify the settings by navigating to Settings -> Documentation -> and checkmark "Print Charge Times" 


Auto-Calculation behaviors for Start and End Time


1. If start/end time are both 12:00 AM they are considered empty and will not print.


2. If "time" is set and "start" is changed "end" will move to "start" + "time"


3. If "start" is set and "time" is changed "end" will move to "start" + "time"

4. If "start" is set and "end" is changed "time" will move to "end" - "start"
