QuickEMR includes an SMS Statistics Report that provides a detailed overview of all outgoing calls and text messages related to both reminders and marketing communications. This report is a valuable tool for tracking patient engagement and monitoring the effectiveness of your automated messaging system.
The SMS Statistics Report displays key metrics such as:
Delivery status – Indicates whether messages were successfully sent, failed, confirmed, or cancelled.
Total messages count – The total number of reminder and marketing messages sent, as well as a total for each status.
Filtered by Message type – Differentiates between SMS and Voice messages.
Once the report is generated, the SMS Statistics Report will display a breakdown of status percentages for the selected message type..
These percentages provide insight into how your messages are being processed and delivered through the system. Each status represents a specific stage or outcome of the communication:
Completed – The message or call was successfully sent and delivered to the patient’s device.
Failed – The message or call could not be delivered, often due to an invalid number, carrier issue, or a blocked line.
Confirmed – The patient received the message or call and responded to confirm their appointment or acknowledgment.
Cancelled – The message or call was cancelled before completion, either manually or automatically (for example, if the appointment was deleted or changed).
By reviewing these status percentages, you can quickly evaluate the performance of your reminder and marketing campaigns. This data helps identify delivery issues, track patient confirmations, and ensure that your communication system is functioning as expected.
